Two members of the Manhattan College men's outdoor track & field team—Albert Johnson III (Painted Post, N.Y.) and Roman Ewald (Olching, Germany) were in action on Thursday on the first day of the NCAA East Preliminary Round. Johnson just missed advancing to the NCAA Championships in the long jump, while Ewald contested the discus throw at the University of North Florida's Hodges Stadium.
