[Men's Golf] James Wiginton's top five overall showing helps Evangels to fourth place finish at MACU Fall Invitational

James Wiginton shot a 72-73-145 to finish tied for fifth overall as the Mid-America Christian Evangels wound up fourth at the MACU Fall Invitational Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 13) at Earlywine Golf Course in OKC.
The Rogers State Hillcats won the tourney with a 287-290-577, while Justin Burns of Central Baptist beat out Preston Bartley of RSU in a playoff hole to capture the individual tournament title.
The Hillcats outdistanced second place Southwestern Christian by 12 strokes.
Burns and Bartley each shot a 142 over two rounds.
Cody Mosley and Jake McElhany each shot a 150 to finish tied for 11th overall.
Karl Griffith was tied for 17th with a 154, while Tyler Montgomery came in tied for 31st with a 163.
The Evangels will next play in the OBU Tournament next Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 19-20) in Shawnee, Okla.
